The validation code is something you create. It should be random and at least 13 characters. This code should be added to your email signature in Outlook or other email client.

I am attempting to follow your steps to eliminate spoofing. You mentioned a validation code for e-mail signatures. I am not sure what is meant and cannot find a way to create codes for signatures.

<a href="#comment-72" rel="nofollow">@Tonya </a>
Hi Tonya,

You should have properly setup SPF settings for your domain which would prevent any of these being accepted from your email server. You are still spending all the resources on your server to accept these messages, bandwidth etc. Then resources on your pc to filter them to the junk folder and yes even using up some of your outlook allowed space per user and per server database within exchange.

This is one of the best anti-spoofing solutions I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us. We implemented it a week ago and this type of spam has gone down nearly 100%.

Thank you so much for your excellent article. We receive about 15,000 malicious emails a day spoofing the email addresses of our 193 employees. After exhausting our IT department trying to stop this problem I am happy to report we implemented your solution this past weekend. As of this morning the spoofing of our addresses has stopped. Words cannot express our gratitude.
