You are still spending all the resources on your server to accept these messages, bandwidth etc. Then resources on your pc to filter them to the junk folder and yes even using up some of your outlook allowed space per user and per server database within exchange. @Tonya

You should have properly setup SPF settings for your domain which would prevent any of these being accepted from your email server. You are still spending all the resources on your server to accept these messages, bandwidth etc. Then resources on your pc to filter them to the junk folder and yes even using up some of your outlook allowed space per user and per server database within exchange.
